LOST101 — reach your contacts from any phone, even landlines
LOST101 is a US-only personal phone relay. If you lose access to your phone, dial
1-888-LOST-101 (1-888-567-8101) from any borrowed phone,
flip phone, or landline, verify your identity, and we bridge you to one of your
pre-approved trusted contacts. Neither side ever sees the other's number — both see
“LOST101” on caller ID.
LOST101 is not a replacement for 911 or any emergency service.
How it works
- Add your contacts. Register with your phone number, no password required, and add up to 20 trusted contacts from your address book.
- Contacts verify with a single tap. Each contact gets a private text invitation. As soon as the first one accepts, your relay is live.
- Dial 1-888-LOST-101. Borrow any phone, verify with the keypad or your voice, choose a contact, and the call connects.
Pricing
$36 for a 12-month pass — a one-time purchase with no recurring charges and no
auto-renewal. Your first successfully connected call is free for up to 5 minutes, and no credit
card is required to start. The pass includes up to 20 trusted contacts, calls from borrowed
phones and landlines, private calling, voice verification that is never recorded, and encrypted
contact storage. A 365-day pass can also be bought as a gift.
Privacy and trust
- Encrypted storage. Phone numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
- Number masking. Callers and recipients never see each other's numbers.
- Consent-first. Contacts must explicitly agree before they can be reached, and can opt out anytime by replying STOP.
LOST101 does not sell your information and never sends promotional material.
Limits and coverage
- Up to 20 trusted contacts per account.
- Individual calls are capped at 20 minutes.
- 500 connected minutes per year — roughly 20 successful calls.
- Domestic United States phone networks only; no international calling.

Frequently asked questions

- What if no one answers?
